Drinkify is this website I stumbled upon (heh, get the reference?) that does something really neat. Whether you’re a drinker or not, alcoholic beverages that is, you’ll have some fun here. You’re greeted with a page that asks you to type the name of an artist; I, for example, entered Ra Ra Riot. Drinkify then plays selected music from that artist and gives you directions to mix a drink.
This is what I got:
Combine in highball glass and serve. Stir vigorously.
Now, not all artists are paired with alcoholic beverages. If you prefer listening to Yo- Yo Ma, this is Drinkify’s suggestion.
Serve on rocks. Stir quickly. Garnish with twist of lemon.
The other thing I love about this site is that it plays music for you. So, even if you could not care less and the thought of drinking anything is repulsive, just sit back and listen to some music from your favourite artists! It even has a ‘change the music’ button that you can click if you so desire to skip that song that just wasn’t the highlight of your band’s musical career - or reminds you of that asshole who told you this was ‘your song’.
Have a good night guys, and always drink responsibly.
Click on anywhere I’ve mentioned Drinkify to go directly to the website.

Raging Sun Storms In Our Minds
After listening to scientists talk about solar flares, a team of artists went to the drawing board and crafted a gorgeous fiction: loops of lightning flashing between gizmos, curling up walls, and leaking into corridors. However, the fanciful mis-translation sparked some ire from scientists. -Robert Krulwich
